Web apps provide users a custom, interactive experience online. Unlike native mobile apps, web apps can be accessed via any device with a browser — laptop, tablet or smart phone. They often offer all the same custom functionality needed by a business, nonprofit, or government agency, but without requiring users to download an app. In general, web apps are also significantly less expensive to develop and to maintain.
We simplify complex web applications and customize features to meet your needs so that your users can have an engaging and interactive experience with a modern and effective design.

Process
We will walk you through the entire process, from start to finish, to help you create the web app you dreamed of. We will begin with a meeting in which you tell us more about your goals, your audience, and what you want the site to do. We will help you identify features to optimize functionality even if you aren’t sure what you need.
Once we have an idea of what you want, we will begin building something. We will check in with you regularly- usually weekly- to make sure we are on the right track, and we will adapt our design based on your feedback to create the product that will best suit your needs. In general, web apps require ongoing maintenance, and we can work with you for as long as you need. Ready to get started? Fill out the form on the bottom of this page to request an estimate.
Timeframe
The timeframe all depends on how complicated and how many features your web app will include. Very basic web apps may only require 6 – 10 weeks, but more complex projects could take six months or more.
Cost
Basic web apps, with a limited set of features, often start between $15,000 to $40,000, but each site varies greatly and depends on many factors. Larger apps with more complex features may range from $40,000 to $150,000+. Code the Dream tries to make these services as affordable as possible, and particularly for nonprofit clients, we are happy to work with you to jointly identify potential funding that could cover development costs.
