Providing Millions of Relief Dollars to Food and Farmworkers

We partnered with the Hispanic Federation and built an app that in less than a year helped food and farmworkers collect over $20 million dollars in covid relief benefits that they were eligible for as part of a grant through the USDA.

Challenge

Allowing potential recipients to determine if they are eligible for USDA FFWR relief grant while allowing partner organizations to manage relief requests, benefit payouts, and check for duplicate applications and potential fraudulent activity.

Outcome

We onboarded over 37 organizations that have successfully used our application to administer relief to over 30,000 recipients.

Impact

Our application thus far has played a key role in providing payouts of over 20 million dollars to more than 30,000 food and farm workers who were not previously eligible for covid relief stimulus. And we think we are only about half way through.
