Ming King

Ming grew up in Northeast China and originally trained to be a teacher. She never thought that she would leave her hometown until one day she took the opportunity to live and work in Shanghai. After moving to the United States and starting a family, she decided to pivot her career to software development by taking classes at the local community college. Ming found out about Code The Dream and started with a Ruby on Rails class in 2021. There, she found a strong community that is committed to helping others through coding. She brings a passion for delivering quality code. Ming lives in San Francisco where she enjoys baking, hiking, and trying different foods.
