Katie Brey

Katie grew up in the NC Triangle, and because of all the great hiking and food in the area, she never left. She holds her Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Computer Science from NC State. In her career as a full stack developer and manager, she has focused on educational software with a passion for using technology to improve lives. She feels so fortunate to be at Code the Dream, where she can help her community by building impactful, quality software and mentoring. When she isn’t managing a release, you might find Katie holding any number of instruments, snuggling her dogs, or repairing something that broke during a DIY project.
