Mohammad grew up in Afghanistan, where he earned his bachelor’s in Software Engineering at an American-affiliated university in Kabul. The move to the United States in 2021 marked a new chapter, one that required him to build everything new. Juggling survival jobs and the responsibility of supporting his family back home, including his parents and siblings, he was also laser-focused on getting his tech career back on track.
Driven by his passion for software, he enrolled in development classes at Code the Dream while dedicating his free time to personal projects, constantly honing his skills. CTD’s apprenticeship program proved to be a pivotal experience. Immersed in real-world projects and collaborative team environments, he not only sharpened his technical abilities and problem-solving skills but also gained a deeper understanding of the entire development lifecycle. This experience solidified his belief in the importance of adaptability, clear communication, and a commitment to lifelong learning.
Beyond the world of code, you’ll find him on the volleyball court, strategizing over a chessboard with friends, or exploring virtual worlds through video games. But above all, he cherishes moments spent with his family, cousins, and his young nephews and niece.
